Benjamin Valenza (1980, Marseille) is a founding member and co-director of 1m3, an independent artist run space in Lausanne and he is teaching sculpture at EBABX, Bordeaux, France. He runs Joseph Hannibal’s projects (FILM, STAMPA; ON HAIR) and with Stephane Barbier Bouvet he has created Kaiser Kraft, a service agency for art, design and the entertainment industry.
He exhibited among others at: Fahrenheit in Los Angeles, Komplot in Brusseles, South London Gallery, Rowing projects and FormContent in Londra, Kunsthalle Münzte, KAMM gallery in Berlin, Forde in Geneva, Fluxia in Milan, Palais de Tokyo and Castillo/Corrales in Paris and Zoo Gallery in Nantes. He is collaborating with artist Lily Reynaud Dewar at a performative TV program presented at Le Magasin, Grenoble and that will have new incarnations. Together with Emmanuelle Lainé they are developing LongLenght a film project for London, Marseille, Switzerland and India, supported by South London Gallery, Fluxus and Pro Helvetia India.
